IAMANDA OSBORN (sr. / soprano) and TAYLOR BURGESS (jr. / alto) have been chosen to sing in the MIXED CHOIR at the NYSCAME ALL-COUNTY MUSIC FESTIVAL on November 16 at Northport HS--7:30PM. In order to be chosen for this festival, a musician must be among Suffolk County's very best 11th and 12th grade musicians.

James Rios attended the 2013 New York State Band Director’s Association conference, March 1-3.  James was selected from over 400 nominees from 30 different districts in the state for the 2013 High School Honor Band.  He was one of five alto saxophone players selected and was seated 2nd chair.  The conference concluded with a performance by the NYSBDA honor band on Sunday afternoon.

On February 26th, a Target Field Trip Grant made it possible for 27 RHS music students and four chaperones to travel to NYC to see the Broadway production of "The Phantom of the Opera".
